What is IBPS AFO Exam?

IBPS Agriculture Field Officer (AFO) is a competitive test held by IBPS in India to recruit AFO for the role of Agriculture Field Officer in various public banks.

About IBPS AFO Exam

IBPS AFO exam is conducted every year in three stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview. Preliminary exam marks are not included in the final cut-off calculation.

Stages of AFO Exam

The IBPS AFO Prelims is an online objective test with three sections: English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Both the Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude offered in English and Hindi.

AFO Prelims Exam

In this phase, there will be only one test that will assess Professional Knowledge or Agriculture. This portion will consist of 60 questions, each worth one point. Questions will be bilingual.

AFO Mains Exam

Candidates who pass the IBPS AFO Mains exam will be called for the interview or final phase of exam. Candidates with excellent merit scores will be shortlisted in the end.

IBPS AFO Interview

The IBPS AFO remuneration will be around Rs. 38800/-. AFOs in Scale I are entitled to additional allowances in addition to their Bank SO income, such as House Rent Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Special Allowance, Travel Allowance and Medical Expenses.
