- Soil Science- Physio-chemical and biological properties of soil, food and fertilizers, nutritional requirements of plants, sources of nutrition, classification of food and fertilizers.
- Water management – sources and methods of water required for different crops, moisture conservation means and methods of irrigation, the principle of runoff, advantages, and disadvantages of runoff, types of runoffs, types of agricultural implements and equipment, their utility in different agriculture, ploughing.
